Below is a list of the lodging and camping nearby, and often times there are special rates if you mention you are attending an Inverness festival or special event.

The Central Motel is located along the Withlacoochee Bike Trail in Inverness. This affordable motel has rooms and townhomes options.  Special rate of $58 for guests that book for a City of Inverness event.

Van Der Walk USA Golf Resort located in Lakeside Country Clubs in Inverness. This resort offers a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes and condos from simple all the way to luxurious. 

The Lake House Bed & Breakfast is a restored 1930s era fishing and hunting lodge on Lake Henderson. The guest rooms have a private bath and television. This B&B is located on 1.5 acres 

Holiday Inn Express is located on Highway 44, across from the Citrus Wildlife Management Area, located only 3 miles from Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club, and 11 miles from Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs. Special rate of $99 for guests that book for a City of Inverness event.

RV Resorts


Riverside Lodge RV Resort & Cabins offers rentals at its resort campground located along the Withlacoochee River in Inverness. Enjoy boat and canoe and kayak rentals, picnic pavilion, fishing pier and nature trails. This resort offers cabins, RV spaces, and tent camp sites.

Moonrise Resort is located on Lake Tsala Apopka in Floral City, just minutes away from Inverness. Lakefront cabins are available, RV/Travel Trailer sites with amenities such as full hookups, concrete patios, laundry, wi-fi and bath house.

Camping


Potts Preserve is located along the Withlacoochee River and offers primitive, backcountry and equestrian camping sites.

Withlacoochee State Forest has camping options: The Holder Mine Campground campsites are shaded by live oaks and turkey oaks. This campground is open seven days a week and is popular with hunters during archery and small game seasons. Mutual Mine Campground has campsites in a horseshoe formation next to a picturesque, rain-filled lake that was formerly a mine pit. This campground does not have showers.
